Hello there, I'm Sandra, married, mother-of-5 and muddling through!
I am an Anglicised Scot, married to a N.Irishman, living in NSW, Australia. Our brood range from 15 down to 5, 4 boys and one girl. I am currently a Stay-at-Home Mum, but I used to teach RE in a High School in Essex (pre-children). I will get back to it one day, but in the mean time I'm kept pretty busy with feeding, clothing, ferrying, chasing etc! In my free-time I love reading, playing tennis, walking at the beach, having coffee with friends and have recently discovered that I can crochet! I also enjoy baking birthday cakes for the kids hence the "Cake" in the title. For more info check here and here.
My main reason for blogging, is to keep a diary with pictures. Time flies by at an incredible rate and I'm sure I will forget most of this adventure. It's also a great way for me to keep in touch with family and friends back in the UK.
